The sip-user registration software module of the Voice of O365 offers the ability to connect Teams users to a customers on-prem IP phone system (Avaya, Mitel, Unify, Cisco, Alcatel, etc.) or Cloud PBX (Swyx, Coligo, Xelion, Mitel Flex, Asterisk, 3CX, Broadsoft, Compass, etc.).
Effectively turning a Teams user into a ‘softphone’ on the PBX with the capability to use both devices.
This solution is beneficial for customers that rely on PBX capability that Teams cannot provide or are aiming for a hybrid deployment.
